In 2003 PRODRIVE tuned Ferrari 550 Marranello achieved LM GTS class victory in Le mans 24 hour durable race. The beautiful wheel supported the footsteps of the car throughout the continuously changing track conditions. High quality allows the machine to run faster with higher stability than ever with exquisite weight and durability. The road going model succeeds those genes and passes them down to the streets.
Even on the basis of light weight conversion, the impressive design extends all the way to the rim. Rib processing allows the somewhat delicate looking spoke to guarantee rigidity and sufficient strength.
By succeeding to process the difficult single piece forging, complex shapes and earls has been materialized.
Face 1's design took its size and offset into consideration to correspond with big calipers. Face 2 has been designed in order to assure the light weight conversion of low offset sizes. Hence two design patterns in one size have been prepared to match the vehicle model.
In addition, to be compatible with each vehicle model, there are 3 types of centre form depth, S M D and the centre section has been dug deeper on the big caliper compatible type to reduce weight. This way the refined design is kept as it is and excess weight was removed at the same time. Not a simple removal of section, but an all round light weight conversion has been achieved.
